2. How to use and precautions
In order to ensure the safety of the person and equipment, and to ensure the integrity of the electroscope, the electroscope should be stored in a place with air circulation and a dry environment.Before the power test operation, the electroscope should be self-tested by pressing the self-test button. The power test indicator should emit a clear sound and light alarm signal.If the self-test does not have a silent light indication signal, the power check operation shall not be performed.Before the power inspection operation, it is necessary to check whether the grounding lead line is intact and whether the contact point is reliable.
The sequence of electrical inspection operations is：
(1) The ground roll that leads the grounding wire offline is reliably clamped on a good grounding rail or pole.
(2) Lead the ground to the plug at the upper end of the offline line reliably**In the jack at the end of the first section of the rod.
(3) Turn on the power test indicator and perform a self-test test.
(4) Stretch all insulated operating rods so that they are fully drawn and positioned.
(5) The operator should first check the electrical part of the electroscope to prove that the performance of the electroscope is intact, and then check the electrical part on the construction site to confirm whether the construction site has electricity. After that, it should also be returned to the electrical part for re-inspection to ensure the integrity of the electroscope.The SG-1500 high-voltage DC electroscope adopts a micro-power integrated circuit, and the static power consumption is extremely small. Therefore, there is no need to replace the battery for long-term use. When the self-test test cannot emit sound and light signals, consider replacing the battery.If the electroscope is damaged, do not deal with it without authorization. Please contact our company in time for repair or replacement.
Fourth, regular testing
In order to ensure the safety of people and equipment, the electroscope must conduct regular preventive tests every six months in accordance with regulations.
The preventive test items are：
(1) The entire set of start-up voltage test.
(2) The withstand voltage test of the current limiting rod.
The test structure should comply with the provisions of the technical indicators. The appearance inspection should be carried out before the test. When the shell of the electroscope is found to be defective, the insulating rod has cracks and other obvious defects, it should not be tested, and it should be sent to the repair or replacement parts in time before the test.
